ONE OF MY HATCHLING SLIDERS HAS DEVELOPED A BROWNISH SPOT ON ITS SHELL. ANYONE KNOW WHAT IT COULD BE. HE STILL REMAINS ACTIVE AND EATS ALOT TO. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Impossible to say without a picture. It could just be the scute starting to rise up and be shed off or mineral deposit under the scute or (worst case scenario - the begginings of shellrot.
