Spend the extra $50-100 and buy a captive bred blood FROM the breeder. Think of the overall costs of the animal in factoring. The cage and food for either snake will cost you 5-10 TIMES the cost of the snake itself...so what's an extra $100 to get a quality captive born and bred animal? You spend the $75 for a wild caught snake that might have ticks/diseases and is probably more aggressive (on average) than the captive born/bred counterpart. In my mind it's a no brainer.

As for burm or blood...I'm a bit partial, but blood any day of the week. They are impressive snakes that don't eat a tremendous amount (adults eat 1 med/lg rat every other week) and don't require a huge cage.

what are you going to do with a burm once it gets 12 - 20 feet and 100 pounds?

and what are you going to do w/ an imported unestablished blood python that you will never be happy with?

save up your hard earned cash and buy something worthy.

I agree. If you are worrying about money, then you should not be buying these pythons who will easily eat more than their worth in no time at all.

?, i have a job so money is not a problem, the burm would have a custom enclosure and then its own room. and the blood, if i c a nice one will have a cage built for it, i already have a ball python and snow corn, i've dealt with my uncles 17ft burm for over a year because my unlce couldn't care for it cause he broke his hip. so large boids are nothing new
