Sweating eggs?

I've heard that eggs sweat, dent, and swell up before they hatch. how long before they are due do they do this? thanks for the info everybody!

I think first they swell, then sweat and dent. I noticed one of mine sweating and within 12 hours it hatched. I have also watched 2 babies actually hatch out and I had not observed any sweat at all. If you do see sweat I would estimate around a couple of days or so.
