Incomplete Shed

ronin1360 Feb 15, 2006 10:15 PM

A new girl we just got just finished shedding but she has a little flaky scale left on the top of her head. Any suggestions as to how to get this off or do I just need to wait for her next shed? I bumped up her humidity a bit to encourage it to come off but I've had no luck. She's also a bit head-shy and is not willing to let me touch her head. Suggestions?

what has worked for me is taking a pillow case or somthing like it. we us snake bags that we picked up at an expo recently.
soak it down then ring it out so it is just damp not soaked.
put your bp in the bag then secure it so it can not get out. put it and the bag back in your enclosure on the hot side. leave the bp in their for about 20 to 30 min. then check it should have rubed the stuck shed off. if not put back in and check again latter. hope this helps
