I was wondering if using red incandesants 24/7 would have any ill effects. I know some zoos use them in their nocturnal displays. Might it mess up their day/night cycles or other seasonal issues? Thanks for any info.

i use a 75 watt infrared.
They don't see red light so it won't affect their daily routine.
Lights like that work best with a thermostat or a rheostat.
