Pink Albino RUTHAYERI

serpentdan Feb 16, 2006 10:03 AM

I'm not into hybrids, but have to admit this snake stopped me in my tracks when I first saw it. The coral pink is amazing. This albino ruthveni x thayeri specimen was created by Professional Breeders.

That one is truly remarkable. Even though I stay clear of hybrids that one is truly beautiful. thanks for the picture.

That is one beautiful hybrid for sure. I also think some of the Imperial Kings (Pueblan Milk X Bannana Cal King) are good looking too.
Still you gotta wonder what would a real thayeri albino look like.

I would love to see pics of this combination if anyone has some. I have wondered what a banana crossed with a milk would look like.

Arron Jeff C in PA has some that he's back crossed to classic thayeri so many times such that they are by blood 90 some percent thayeri. All phases of theyeri only albino were represented.

Now it's gonna sound like I am putting down hybrids but I look at it this way, if you have only seen cubic zirconia you still don't know what a real diamond looks like even though maybe only an expert can tell them apart.
And some cubic zirconia probably looks better than some real diamonds but they are still different.

Perhaps not the best comparison but I understand what you're saying.

That is just an incredible sight. I agree, I'm not a big fan of hybrids but i bet that would catch on very quickly.

Any one on this forum can produce them by useing really clean Peach or hi red/orange thayeri and a clean albino ruthvens. the ruthvens doesnt destroy the pattern of the thayeri either.

Much more interesting in my opinion and no transplanted amelanism!

So did you add this snake to your collection?

serpentdan Feb 18, 2006 08:20 AM

I'm not into hybrids, I prefer to just look at them.
