sexing AWD

Hi,
Is it possible to sex an AWD via popping method? If not, is there a way besides waiting for colours to appear and the head to get bigger?

I have Asian WD, but probing is dangerous and can render them sexually dysfunctional so it is not recommended. As far as I know waiting is the only option. Looking for hemipenal bulges once they age a little can be done by some experienced people, but even anyone who guesss has a 50% chance of being correct, so I don't know how accurate these people really are. I don't profess to be one of them. Diane
