i was reading the Sandfire Dragon Ranch site, and i noticed something. read this:

These genetic mutations, are very rare, and a high dollar value is placed on them when they are introduced into the hobby. This value often reflects only the rarity of such mutations, and is usually not a reflection of beauty.
How many of you actually think a "blizzard lizard" is a beautiful gecko? It is (was) a rare mutation, which like the leucistic, and Albino, captured the hearts (and pocketbook) of many a collector.

i personally think the blizzard is gorgeous, what about you guys?

Yes very pretty I have two and really like them, I wish they were still worth ALOT but still great non the less

My mom won't come in my room because i have my leos in there. She thinks they're the ugliest things known to man. I think every herp is pretty in there own way. Katie

My mom is terrified of lizards in general, but she admittedly likes my chameleon and thinks my leo is very cute.

BTW, where are you located? I've talked to you before about being a huge Frank Black fan and am just curious I used to post at FrankBlack.net but a lot of the people are snubby there, so I only rarely post.

Anyway, I'm posting about it because I absolutely adore, adore, adore Frank Black. You're really freaking lucky to live in South Cali, I'd never want to live there, but just 'cause of him I would, lol. I'm the biggest freaking Pixies fan, but I love the Catholics, also... so I get excited when I meet someone else who does, too. Especially on a herp forum.

Sorry if I sound retarded, it's just hard to find fans, especially nice ones. So don't mind me trying to chat!

I myself own a Male Blizzard...and a female het for blizzard which have produced me 2 very healthy Blizzard juveniles this year with so little yellow or greyish cast to them that I may actually keep them all for my breeding project. Then again, if I could ever find someone willing to do trades for like an albino or something, I'd be in heaven *chuckles*

I absolutely love the look of the blizzard gecko!!!!!!! Its the one morph i would really really like to have. Regardless of colouration all leo's are amazing though and i'd be happy with anything as long as its healthy!!!

As for MY mom lol, she's very much NOT into snakes. My parents don't mind the geckos, but they do prefer my crested over my leo. The day i brought him home he spent a long time interacting with my dad through the glass. It was amazing!

My parents love my leos. My mom will lay on my bed and just watch them for half the night, and well my dad gets upset because when he comes in Sunshine will hide but once he leaves she comes right back out. I think she hates men lol.

Ha, that sounds pretty funny. I only wish! I brought some animals (tree frogs) when I moved back home from college and my collection began to expand more and more. And I don't think my parents aren't too happy with that
