Unfortunately my white sided speck is dead. The poor guy got some sort of growth...or deformity....or well I just don't know but it affected his ability to keep food down. After he managed to keep a few Corn snakes in his belly since mice were a problem I gave him a short cooling and ended up taking him back out and warming him up due to signifigant weight loss in only a few weeks. I tried a few meds, and it just didn't work out. The only good news is I do have a 100% het male as backup for my 100 % het female and 2 possible het females. I will also breed that het male to the Amel I just posted. This really stinks to say the least as my track record with treating ailing snakes was almost perfect, but it seems it is always the best snake in your collection that beats the odds in a bad circumstance such as this. Hopefully I will still produce some of these this year....but no definite hets is a bummer. I wll really miss this snake and it was my honor to own it. Thankfully his siblings all look phenomenal, and I will post pics of them soon.
