I reacently whent to a local state park and collected some furn moss. I am just woundering what procedures should I take. Such as cleaning to make sure any unwanted parasites or bugs could be removed without hurting the moss itself. Also the best way to keep the moss alive. I picked it off dead tree branches and off the soil. I currently have them in three containers with about two inches of soil and is well drained. I'm getting the WTF's on Feb. 26 ,and would be disapointed if anything happend to them. Last two I got died from previous health conditions in the first week, and I contacted the man I bought them from and he Is giving me two new ones so it will be horrible if anything would happend to the new ones... So if any one has ever delt with any local plants, and dealing with parasites I could use your advice!
