hemp bedding

i know this has been posted before, but has anyone here used hemp bedding with their snakes? is it safe?

where do you get it? Is it cheaper than aspen? Don't see why it would be bad if it doesn't have the oils similar to what pine would have. I guess the issue would be on impaction but if it compacts like aspen and you feed outside the container ( I do )then why not? Maybe post the question on the ball forum and see what kind of responses you get there as well.
