has anyone here used hemp bedding for their snakes?

i got it out of petsmart, i use it with my rats they seem to do fine with it.

Well, then try putting your snakes on it and see what happens, I've never seen it before but would be interested to find out if it works any better then anything else. I would imagine it would be similar to other mulch type beddings.

I've used it for years at shows. I had the first Spider Mojave hatching on it down in Daytona 2 years ago. Some people wrongly accused me of having my animals on Aspen at that Daytona.

It's hemp bedding and it is awesome. I buy mine from a wholesaler here in the northeast. They also supply Petco with it. I got in touch with the producer of the hemp bedding in Canada, where the hemp bedding is made, and they gave me wholesalers here in my area. I explained to them that I would be buying it in large quantities.

It's fairly expensive, but the wholesale price is half the price that you pay at Petco. Get in touch with the company that makes it and ask them if they would tell you who wholesales it in your area. Most wholesalers only deal with people who have an account with them, which is easy enough to open one up.
