Well to start out the flight was delayed approx. 3 hrs. Anyways I opened the box at the airport and I was taken by their beauty! I reached in and gently pet each animal on it's head with no problems. I got them back to the house and took them out for one final inspection before they go into their setups. I quickly found that holding them by the neck was a bad idea as they really didn't like it. So I decided to see if they would live up to their rep and bite the hell out of me. The female which was supposed to be real bad was just huff and puff about everything. She just checked me out and climbed around my arms and anything else that was around. They are pretty active when taken out. The male was a bit more laid back although his plan was just to see if he can't make a break for it. After slideing through my hands at warp speed he settled down a little. He decided to check out my hands, arms and his surroundings. I'm putting day one in as a success! Not one bite so far. I think getting them out of their cages will be fairly easy as long as I go toward the tail end and let them know I'm there (as I do with the bloods). Much like Biak Chondros If I let them do what they want and don't restrain them I don't think I'll have to many problems with bites. They are beautiful animals and I'm happy to be one of the few with them! I'll get some pictures up later this week!!!
