Very nice ruthie, do you trade HotWheels too? I have a big HotWheel collection about 5,000 cars in blisters.

I don't collect them ,but that's the finest flashlight collection i ever seen. Do you have any mini-mags?

bluerosy Feb 18, 2006 09:19 AM

The only mini mags I had were modded ones. The Maglights are the worst falshlight as far as beam characteristics. BUT MAglight finally anounced at the SHOT show this past weekend that they will be selling LEDS. Though technology is far ahead of Maglight They are the worlds leading producer and distributor of lights. So when they release these lights in stores, Joe Schmow will take notice. Otherwise the only thing the Mags are good for are hosts for modding. It pretty cool to whip one of those out in front of friends and see their reactions when this thing can burn paper and light up houses hundreds of yards away. I have showed the police some of my stuff and they carry decent Surefires but most of them are clueless to what a good light can do.

Modders like myself have been doing this for a while. The technology for unbeleivable lights has gone bezerker in the last two years. Every month there is something brighter with more throw and lumens in a msller package. The lights you see in some of the pics I attached above are no bigger than a CR123 battery yet they outshine a 6D Maglight in throw and brightness. I like carrying them around my neck like jewelery.

Here are a couple lights I reccomend:

CR2 ION

I believe you're right about the mini mag, seems to me they tweak out after too much turning, they were great in the 80's but after i seen your stuff now i know they're primitive.
Thanks for all the info, i had no idea, flashlights were so advanced.
Here's one of your 03's

Great looking snake. I have an albino Ruthven also . Which I bought as a baby over the summer . Its by far my favorite snake tempermeant wise and looks.
I find he prefers bit cooler temps than my Rosy boa and hognose snake .
He is the only snake I have gauranteed not to bite or act nervous and an eating machine .

wburke17 Feb 17, 2006 02:23 PM

thanks fleck, mine just came out of burm on monday and diceded that my finger was good enough to eat, that was the selling point for me ;} my desert rosy has the best temperment out of any of my snakes, 14 now still a newbie....warren

Fleck Feb 17, 2006 06:16 PM

14 years old thats getting up there for a rosy my rosy and hognose are both 8 .
My rosy bites not out of malice or being nervous but he loves to eat sometimes will mistake a finger for food but rarely.
I have been lucky as all my 3 snakes great eaters.
