I have kept snakes and lizards for a while and want to get either a BRB or a Carpet?

in this forum everyone will say a brb but personally thats a hard decition right now i have 1.1 brb's and no carpets but i use to have a high gold jcp and if i ever find one at a good price i probly wouldnt be able to help myself and buy it, i love their patterns and their personalities from my experience and i've noticed the jcp's are more energetic but then again some brbs look just as stunning, just my personal opinion

...I have Rainbow Boas and Jungle Carpet Pythons and Diamond Jungle crosses. I have had full Diamond Pythons in the past. The Carpets are much more active snakes and will even sometimes come out of their hiding places to see what is going on when I come into the snake room. The bloodlines of many of the Jungle Carpets and all the Diamond Carpet crosses are pretty messed up and with many of these snakes it is impossible to determine exactly what they are. The downside to Carpets and Diamonds is that right out of the egg they are VERY plain. They are not really pretty until they pass 3 feet in length and the colors and patterns improve. Make sure you are getting pretty ones because in my opinion the plainer Carpets are really too plain to keep. Jungle Carpets are easier to breed than any of the Rainbow Boas and especially easier than Diamond Pythons. Myself and several people I know have had terrible lucking keeping Diamonds alive for long enough to breed them. The crosses seem to be much hardier and are much easier to breed.

would you think a 4'hx3x3 would be a decent size cage for an adult jcp since i know alot of them like to climb? i've only kept one jcp and it never got very big because it died when i was on vacation and had a friend taking care of it and i still donno why it died because it was healthy when i left
