How many females do you breed your males to per season?

voodoomagik Feb 17, 2006 01:29 PM

Hi, everybody, just trying to get some ideas here and was wondering about how you breed your male boas.
Do you breed them to one female per season or multiple females?
At the same time or one female after the other?
Do you breed the male to one female his first breeding season and then multiple females thereafter?
Just wondering what YOU do.
Thanks in advance.
Aaron

so far i have been using one male per female, except last year i did put my male dumeril in with 3 females and i had three litters last summer. with the dumerils i have not seen the long drawn out courting that the boas engage in. they are more of the "drive-by" lovers i guess.j yocum
