I saw these California kings back in the late 1990's at a show in Pennsylvania that were a light chocolate brown with pinstripe, snow-white bands. They were absolutely beautiful. Some siblings to these had stripes as well. I decided to not purchase any, but later made a deal with this seller to buy all his babies and the breeders as well. It turned out the next year this guy sold everything and didn't advise me until I bumped into him at the same show the following year. Suffice it to say, I've been in search of these type of Cal kings since then, and they have not turned up for me. I'm very interested still, and anyone with information about this variant please contact me. Much appreciated, and thanks.

no cigar. Interesting chain pattern near the ventrals. Yours has more of a yellow -- the ones I'm searching for are a pure snow white and breed true for this coloration. I will endeavor tirelessly to find 'em. They're out there some where. Watch your fingers with all this hand-feeding my friend! Thanks much.
