One of My BP's went into the water hide box after I thought I did something wrong. (ie, I tried to assist feed by prying his mouth open with a f/t rat--but he refused). Ever since then, he has been in the water hide--3 and half days now!.
However, it turns out that he is in shed.
What I am saying is that what you may be seeing may completely be conincidental. It is true that feeding not completely thawed food can give a shock to the digestive system. But a Fuzzy is not that big. Your BP shouldn't have too big of problem. If you had thawed the Fuzzy to a half way decent degree, the rest of the thawing should be okayly done in the snake's tummy.
Just try to be careful in the future.
cheers.

Longtang. I like snakes and rats.
i think you're right. i took him out yesterday night, just to make sure that he's alright. when i put him back in, he went into the humidity box, burried himself under the moss, he's been there for two nights now, again i was worried, so i lifted up the lid of the box and misted it, then with the heating lamp turn to the max, i saw that his skin looked kinda grey. how long doea it take to shed? and should i skip feeding day until he's done shedding ?
thanks

Takes about one week from the time you notice cloudy eyes.
One of my BP will eat pretty much anything anytime. I have fed her even when her eyes were completely cloudy and obviously in shed. (I just love her because she never gives me any trouble on feeding days--especially now that I heat up f/t food to above room temp.).
On the other hand, my male BP is not the greatest feeder and wouldn't touch food (if he doesn't want to) even if you tried sticking it down his throat (believe me: I would never try that again--just too stressful for both me and the snake!).
So the answer to your question is: It really depends on your BP. If he will take food while in shed, by all means, give it. If he refuses it, then you have no choice but to skip it. If your question is whether or not it would hurt him if you fed while in shed, the answer is no. There is very little chance that you will do harm to your snake if he eats while in shed. I would actually say: count your lucky stars if you have a BP with such a strong feeding response. I mean, for goodness sakes, I have met burmese pythons who wouldn't eat while in shed. Therefore, I count myself as lucky that my Princess will eat so well!
Probably the only caveat is that: you probably don't want to feed live food if the snake can't see too well. You don't want to take that chance of a off target strike.
cheers.
