I have cyclura and am familiar with them. Recently I have become interested in the spiny iguanas and was wondering where I can get general info on them. Also, who I could contact to purchase this species. Someone as reputable as say, Bob Ehrig.

I too am new to Ctenosaura and good info is hard to find. I've had some luck with web searches under Ctenosaura, Spiny tail Iguana, Spiny iguana, etc. This forum and the older version of it are probably the best source of captive care info. There is also an article by Bruce Elfstrom in the August 1997 issue of Reptiles magazine. He is considered an authority on the genus. As far as breeders, I don't know of any regular breeders of Ctenosaura.
