Hi. I have three firebellied toads, one of which seems to be sick. He's been active and healthy for 4 years up until now.
A month or so ago, I noticed he was breathing funny. Normally frogs move their throat in and out really fast when they breathe. But he was holding his throat in and not moving it for a long time, then would sort of open his mouth every once in a while and make a popping sound. He was still eating but seemed to take a long time to swallow.
Then he started getting really lethargic, and now he barely moves and is really dark in color. He also wouldn't eat today for the first time. It seems like it's probably too late to do anything, but does anybody know what might be wrong with him? Thanks a lot.
