Will it keep its pattern as it gets older, because greems lose their color? I was going to breed some the same and was told not to bother because the patters would just fade?

Haven't faded much at all. They are about 6' now in the pics. And greens don't lose color, the dorsal spots tend to fade some but not entirely. But the overall body color doesn't fade. if anything some may get darker; some not. So as far as someone saying don't bother trying to produce any is just mistaken or misinformed. They are well worth the time and effort!
