I came home tonight to find 2 pieces of feces in the usual feces spot. Normally my one female only drops one piece of feces. Its a brown part and a smaller white part (i am refering to these 2 smaller parts as one piece) . Last night i fed a little more than usual. Is that the cause of this whole other piece of feces tonight? Also, the one piece was a grayish color, it looked very much like calcium. I posted a picture of each feces on a website but it takes 30 minutes to update so i will post that link as soon as its available if anyone can check it out for me. This is my first leo and i really hope nothing is wrong.

Looks like your gecko just shed. They eat the skin, and it comes out in a grey poo. Perfectly normal, and nothing to worry about.

Hmm that would make sense. He does seem a little brighter. I guess i hadnt noticed she shed. Thanks.

What are you feeding her? When my leos eat more then often or sometimes to much they use the restroom more. I Think if they eat so much it pushes it out lol to make more room. And for the greyish one my male had one like that a while ago I think it was caused by me giving him to much of fatty foods like butterworms and so forth. Also I notice it just in my male though, that when he eats a lot of superworms that it is like that. So i think it is ok. Test it out, give her different food and see if her next stool is normal before worring.

Hope that helps.

Those crickets were from my local pet store. I get most of my supplies there. They are a decent store, not one of the horrors you hear about. I am going to try and feed a little less tonight and buy mealworms tomorow.

Thats good to hear (about the petstore). I went to a petstore a few days ago and I was just browsing along and looked at some leos they had. It was so sad. They were in a 5 gal tank or so. They were on walnut shells with just one hide for like 5 babies and a to big of a water bowl and there stools where just per walnut shells. They were so sick looking.

Keep us posted and good luck. I wouldnt worry just yet.

Sorry about blabing.
