This is the new male Pectinata that I picked up yesterday.
The pics on both of them seem washed out a bit, but the color still shows fairly well.
Summer time and natural sunlight should bring the colors out on these guys.

I love the "piebald" look. Do they get more yellow as they mature? Will they get as yellow as the photo in the Bruce Elfstrom article?
Thanks! I love the Pectinatas for their varying degrees of coloration. I'm hardly an authority on the color changes on these. Others here will be much more helpful in answering your questions.
I know the one that I got a year ago is more yellow since I've had him, but that could be due more to being in an established environment and also his diet as he was a rescue Iggy before I got him. Could be due to age, or because he's happy now or all of the above.
The new Pec is incredibly yellow. Much more so than the first male and I hope they both increase their coloration.
