Almost a Valentines day clutch, but luckily once again I was able to witness the entire process from copulation to deposition. Womas have so many interesting behaviors and exhibit such predictable prelaying activity. When they start tying themselves in knots you know its time to get the catchers mitt out...I almost needed two to handle the 14 eggs she laid this evening. Now to begin the other "fun" part, incubating the little jewels.
