These are boa cages.....

ajfreptiles Feb 19, 2006 06:29 PM

Some may say these should go in a cage forum...but these are boa cages...hehe...I just built 3 new breeder cages for some very special animals I purchased from Frank Martin !!!!!

I can't wait to get them!

This is what my set up is looking like now...boy how things change in a short time...Makes me wonder what I will be doing next year...

I built all these cages...they are nice but very heavy...you can tell the ones I built first compared to what I build now...lol...

Hope you enjoy! Andy Federico

not only do i really like hypo boas, i also like building and seeing custom cages and racks.

i dont have many animals right now (2 hypos and a normal), but when my hypos are of breeding age i will be building my first racks. hopefully i will soon have a room i can dedicate to my snakes also.

very nice setup. good luck with them all.

Things always get cloudy just before transformation.

to get those grill vents?
Thank you,
Joel Pretz

Bighurt Feb 19, 2006 10:51 PM

I don'y know where he got his but hardware stores often stock similar vents in the HVAC department. Also you could check for soffet vents in the siding area. Last Rockler.com sells them for furniture and computer cabinets.
Hope That helps

I bought these at Lowes or Home depot...they both carry them. They are all plastic and have no sharp edges. I think they were like $2.77 each. If you don't have a store local...you may be able to purchase online...Hope this helps. Andy
