Pure Ceylonese Female. Enjoy!

HighEndHerpsInc Feb 19, 2006 07:08 PM

This is mainly for you John since y'all have the ceylon-fever now, lol. This is one of our better looking pure ceylonese females. She is digesting a huge rabbit here but it really brings out her colors and pattern when she's all stretched out taut-like.

Let me know what you think of her. Isn't her pattern and colors wild looking?

Very nice!

I replied to a past post but didn't get a reply back. So I guess i"ll ask here.

Who produced the Albino Granite het green you posted last?

HighEndHerpsInc Feb 19, 2006 08:02 PM

Thanks for the compliment. Sorry i didn't respond to the other thread. I usually only get to respond to forum postings each Sunday after Church, or on Tuesdays when I have time off from our usual schedule. But lately I have had more time. As every breeder knows this time of year we get a little break as females brumate and go off feed and all that. We produced the snake a few years back along with, of course, her siblings.

Thanks john. You know, you might want to consider investing in rabbits of gradually increasing sizes so as to get your female on them asap. Most places have a much better price per pound rate on rabbits than they do on rats and it won't be long before your girl there is taking 2 and 3 pound meals, and then 4 and 5 pound meals. The cost of rats to make up these meals you will be giving her in just a number of months will be staggering compared to the cost of rabbits. Who knows, you may be able to locate a rabbit breeder close to you that sells rabbits for really cheap.

Email me soon. I would like to discuss future breedings and clutches.

I'll shoot you off an e-mail tomorrow - I should be in bed lol. Anyways I just purchased 100 jumbo rats at a pretty good price. Due to shipping rodent pro's price would have been about $3.50 ea I saved $1.25 ea, not bad! Between the bloods and the ceylonese I should have enough rats to last about 6 months feeding 2 a week to each animal. I'm just maintaining the bloods so the ceylonese may get a few more meals. Man I can't wait untill they are giants! I'm sure the bloods could take smaller 1-2lb rabbits and I could feed them less often. I'm really going to have to look into a rabbit breeder. Anyways..good night.
