We just got a new camera and as soon as the battery charged we went straight out to the snake shed and took a couple pics of our snakes. We were a little excited though and only got a couple of good ones so I thought I would share our five month old, Lg. rat pounding male Gus.

Good looking striped tiger you got there.

A little off topic,.. what kind of shavings are you using? I ask because these look like pine shavings and pine shavings emit toxic fumes that irritate and damage reptile's lungs and can lead to harmful respitory infections that can then lead to death. As can Cedar shavings. Please don't take this as a criticism. I felt the need to point this out in case you were unaware of these facts. If those are aspen shavings please disregard this paragraph.

Unfortunately it is Pine but only temporary. We normaly use the recycled shaving stuff (I forget the name of it),or newspaper for our adults. We just had some pine from the rats that I stuck in there until we could get more of the good stuff. I realize it's not good for them but thanks for your concern.

Could anyone tell me what I would get if I crossed him with an albino or a tiger albino. I also want to confirm that if I buy a Clark Albino the het babies have the potential of producing all 3 phases of albino, is that right?
Thanks
Erin

If you crossed your tiger with an albino, you would get 50% tigers 50% normals and they would all be 100% het or albino

If you crossed him with an albino tiger, you would get 50% tigers 25% normals and 25% Super Tigers. All of them would be 100% het for albinism.

This is assuming that your tiger is just a normal tiger and not het.

I made a typo above that could be confusing I meant to write

If you crossed your tiger with an albino, you would get 50% tigers 50% normals and they would all be 100% het FOR albino

Sorry, i forgot the 'f'
