Cage questions

safo Feb 20, 2006 12:07 AM

I am about to get a larger cage for my baby bb, He is currently in a small screen cage(I lined the sides of the cage with a plastic mesh so he could climb it easier,,and save his nails if possible). The mesh was like 5 dollars a 20 feet roll at lowes(liek a hone depot)btw Are screen cages best for multiple cham setups?
My second question is My adult tama is currently is a 175 gallon reptarium, Would putting him in a slightly smaller cage saya 100 gallon cause him too much stress?

I am working on a "design" for a cage to house multiple(2-4 cages)chams/lizards, indoor and outdoor use. Im ggoing to stry to start it this weekend, I'll keep you posted

I dont want to make 4 cages liek the one in the pic again, too muchwork

OK..alot of vague answers to your vague questions...
Yes, screen cages are best for chameleons, especially if you are talking about your "baby bb", a panther cham and arboreal creature.
As far as your adult Tamatave goes, I would not recommend moving him from his current enclosure to a smaller one! If anything, he will appreciate a move into larger quarters, with privacy and security
Keep all your chams separate and in their own tall, foliaged enclosures.
