So I decided I want to get into the exciting world of Leopard Gecko breeding. What morphs would be the best investment?
Well, the politically correct answer to this question would be "Well you don't want to breed geckos as an investment, but because of your love for the lizards". That said I'm fairly sure that most of the larger breeders (Marcia at Golden Gate for example) would be quick to point out that she makes little profit. She produces georgeous geckos every year that people buy because she loves it, but it takes alot of hard work. I went to many shows last year.. in Raleigh, Orlando and a few other cities and there isn't one prolific, hard to find leopard morph. So to make a long story short, in my opinion, pick the morph you enjoy the most, or you think is the prettiest. Get you a nice trio to start with and go from there.

i agree greatly once again with jeff.
Leos definently aren't a good investment if all your looking for is to make a quick buck. You should only breed them for the joy instead of for the money because you won't make make a big profit.
Just wondering, why is there not a profit? Is it because nobody besides us want them or is there just too many of them out there now? Is it something that might actually LOSE money in the end (housing, food, etc) or is it just not a HUGE (like I'm gonna retire tommorow) profit?
