Wild thayeri photos?

troy h Feb 20, 2006 12:26 PM

I'd love to see some of you post some photos of wild thayeri . . . stuff from the 70s and 80s. Too many of those super-orange line bred things look like someone really like Oketee Corns that feed on scented pinks as babies LOL.

I second that motion and Troy I have pics of about 5 individual wild thayeri. I am not at liberty to post them but I will email them to you within a couple days.

That is really wierd, I posted the same question at the same time.

Troy:

As Aaron mentioned, several of us have pics of animals from the field or in preserved collections, but because we did not take those pics we're not at liberty to post them here. However, here's one we got last summer in NL, but you've no doubt seen this one already.

Cheers,

Bob

Same story here. I have been collecting other people's photos of wild thayeri for a long time and have a quite a few pics. I'm not at liberty to post them due to copyright law, but I would e-mail them. I love the look of wild thayeri, and when I decided to cut back on my collection, the first ones I sold were the sreaming orange and yellow ones. I still like to see them though! The two types I keep now are from Dan Vermilya's white line and Vivid's "wild line".

those orange things. It's Colin BTW. It's funny how rediculous some people get about a particular phenotype. Why would someone want an applegate pyro with 2 colors when you could have a better looking snake with 3.
