Yeah thats birdseed I like it alot beacause its easy to keep clean and looks nice. I have never had any kind of problems with digestion or blockage, if he does eat a few during his battle with crickets they just pass right through in has daily bussniess. Every once in awhile Ill see 1 or 2 but hes always regular. Also when he in fouraging mode he'll walk around tasting the seeds but never eats them.

As for where did i get him.... Ashamed to say W.C. and never again! When I got him when he had to of been less than 1 month old. Hindlegs where thinner that a Toothpick!

20 Miles southeast of Las Vegas, NV in Spring Mt. Range.

*Interesting note: 25 miles north from this area I have observed Collard's with bright greens on back and bright yellow on feet. Have only had 2-3 run ins with these bright ones, but plan on taking some good photos of them this comming year.(new camra) I'am starting a Herp Log with photos, times, weather and location of every non-common herp I see starting this year.

He is a really good looking guy. I am curious, is that birdseed you have him on? How well does that work for a substrate? It looks like he has sunk into it.

if your lizards eat the birdseed and digest it ok? I notice mine picking at the sand sometimes. I think the seed is a neat looking background.
