Triple Comparison

wetceal Feb 20, 2006 07:21 PM

This is for Matt Hennek and anyone else interested. I took these photos a couple of weeks ago but haven't had a chance to post them until now (see the post below for the cause of the delay LOL!).

Here are some comparison photos of our African "Lesser Platinum", Ralph Davis line Lesser Platinum, and one of our Mojave Ball Pythons. As you can see, all three are have similarities and differences...

Thanks,
Celia

The one towards the left is the Ralph Davis line Lesser, the one in the middle is the Mojave, and the one towards the back right is the African "Lesser"

From left to right: RDR Lesser, Mojave, and African "Lesser"

From top to bottom: Mojave, RDR Lesser, and African "Lesser"

The one on the left is the RDR Lessser and the one on the right is the African "Lesser"

Awesome snakes! Thanks for the comparison, it's nice to see them side by side like that!

Those are beautiful, but it looks to me like the wild type lesser is more of a light mojave. Just a thought, I realize it couldn't be proven either way until it is old enough to breed. Either way it turns out you have 3 beautiful snakes.

WAY more than I expected, hehe. Beautiful series of shots. I really like the busy pattern as well as the blue-grey that your new african ball has. Hopefully I'll be able to get my butt down there again to visit you guys again.

Take care.

Thank you Celia, I love those pics. They were very informative. Certainly gave me some food for thought.
