getting leos to eat pinky..

how to? mine keeps licking the pinky, but doesnt want to eat.

I had the same problem but my female wouldnt even lick it she wanted nothing to do with it. Some leos are just picky eaters. cleo suggested to me that to put like cricket/mealworm guts on them(whichever one your leo likes better). I tried it but mine still didnt care she didnt want anything to do with it no matter what but you could try it. maybe it will work for you. Hope this helps.

Some leos will jump right on pinkies. Others won’t react, or just lick them like your leo did. If the don’t bite at all, there is little chance of getting your gecko to eat them. I’ve seen that about ½ of my adults will take pinkies. Once they eat one, they are very ready to strike next time they are offered a pinkie. I bet it’s like a four course, five star dinner to them. I would keep offering them to your leo when you have pinkies available, but don’t count on her to eat on them. I think some people ‘sent’ their pinkies with mealworm or crix guts to make them more palatable. Good luck and let the forum know how things turn out.

?? some will some won't. I have one female that is actually scared of a pinky will run into her hide lol.
