Whats the best way to use the vitamin powders with the skinks? Just sprinkle some on the food before i mix it all up?

There is no reason it has to be complicated - try sprinkling it. If the skink seems to avoid the supplement, mix it in some semi-pureed fruit.

to give supplements to my skinks, i just dust the insects. i have also mixed a bit of supplement in with the green/fruit mash i chopped in a small handi-chopper when they were smaller.

We have found that most of our skinks prefer food other than crickets, and so do we. The only insects we offer our horde of blue-tongued friends is silkworms and the occassional roach. They love freshly-shed hissers and discoids! It's like eating a marshmallow. Most of our skinks have never even seen a superworm.

We opted to feed meats instead of bugs - they love chicken and turkey. I even get lamb ribs from the butcher and boil it down for shredded meat. Mix with veggies and you're good to go. It is so easy to supplement this way too.
