Need Help: Incubation of Tegu Eggs!!!

ferox Jul 27, 2003 04:07 AM

My female Blue Tegu laid eggs today. I am so excited!!!

I am current incubating at 84 degrees on Perlite with a 1 to .8 mixture of water in a Rubbermaid container with air holes at the top for ventilation.

Can anyone advise if I am doing the right thing? Are there any special instructions regarding incubation of Tegu eggs?

Thanks - Ferox

Congrats on the eggs!

I've yet to find pics of a gravid tegu. If you have any, I'd love to see them!

Sorry, I did not take any pictures. I did get some good video footage! If I can figure out how to get the video on the web I will be sure to let you know.

You can get something called 'Firewire', but your Camera needs to work with it too, you can look on www.amazon.com for Firewire or something else.
