Something a little different..........>

I finally got around to taking some pictures this last weekend, and since these guys are some of my favorites in the collection, of course they had to sit for pictures

I don't know about anybody else, but I like the look of the hets better than the actual Leopards. Love that contrast!
Take care.

We have been at this for years and the "list" is still long. As soon as we aquire something on the "list" something else comes along. It is hopeless you know.

first i would like to say that was the first time i have seen leopard hets. i never really liked the look of the leopards, but i have to say that those hets have an interesting pattern to them. i deffinately like the hets better than the homozygous form. i had thought that the leopard morph was simple recessive, but apparently it is co-dominent if those are hets. beautiful snakes.

is this true?
Would this be a co-dominant trait like the tiger trait in retics and not a recessive trait at all?
Mr. Winner, I believe you're the expert here...

The reason a lot of the leopard hets that you see don't have this look, is because they have been crossed with Colombians, usually an albino. These guys are 100% Sonoran Desert Boa. I would also like to add that the Sonorans worked with in the US have a different look than the ones the locality guys in Europe are working with, which is where these guys are from. We picked these up in Daytona this last year from Hanns.
Thanks for the compliments.

I would have taken some new pictures of one of my other favorites, that SS male we have, but he is a little busy with one of our big girls. Keep your fingers crossed for us.
