Gerbils... These critters are adored by Ball pythons even the most stubborn feeders....

Rat... The other white meat.... Especially good when cooked in a garlic white sauce.. Yum... Oh and for ball pythons they are full of fat and protein so get your bp on them quickly...

Degu's.. Um these sucked for me, My Bp's didn't jump for joy over these guys but hell they did eat them but not like I expected.. I expected them to go for them like they did for gerbils...

Rabbit's... Yep.... Big balls like them......... Small one pund rabbits work wonders...

Beef.. I am still working on this one, so far I have been able to make a beef paste and press it through a pinky pump to restore nutrients in snakes and lizards...

Chicken ... Peieces work good with balls burms heck snakes and again a groundes up paste works well too for those other feeding methods...

Goats.. Ground up they can eat them..

Snake Sausages.. Work..........Not sure if they are still around though...

Small Children... ask Freddy I am sure he tried........

Adult Humans.... The other other white meat just ask well the crew from house of a 1000 corpses, amongst several other cannabils that seem to pop out of no were Dahlmer what a sicko...

Last but not least the MAtrix theory, Raise them in pods feed the dead to the living........

Ok so the last couple are just a littel out there but so far BP's do eat everyhting that I have tried on them... No I have not tried humans and do not plan on it..

We are using African Soft furred rats. They are the ball Pythons Natural food source. Their adult size is about that of a medium rat but with a much smaller head, They do not have a Pungant odor like rats or mice as they drink little water.
We have been using them with great success with Picky feeders Morph imports and just to keep our male breeders feeding longer into or through breeding season.
The great thing is that we have had several balls feed on them and still switch back to rats or mice...Many larger breeders and smaller breeders here in Fl have been purchasing them from us and have had great success also with their imports and picky eaters.

I can testify that the African Soft furred rats work wonders for poor feeders and breeding males. I've got 3 animals breeding right now that would not be up to weight without them. A female pastel (currenly locked up with a lessor), male mojave and my male spider (DON'T SAY THEY ARE ALWAYS GOOD EATERS AND BREEDERS...) Who would have thougt a $3 rat could make 10's of thousands of dollars...

Did you just recently sell one of your galaps to Guy down here in Tampa?

PFAN151 Feb 22, 2006 02:03 PM

Yea I did sell him 1. I hated selling her, but that was the only way to get enough money together to buy my het lavender albino pair. I'm hoping in a few years to be able to sell a lavender or 2 and pick up a large male galapagos.

Yea she does get a little pissy sometimes. She actually really liked my dog more than me. She would stretch up and let my dog lick her face and not even hiss. The link you gave me for the african furred rats says they only sell males. Is there anywhere that sells females as well? I am willing to way overpay for them. I'm looking for a 3.6 group
