well, the turtle got a checkup. and the vet was amazed with how healthy my turtle looked. she said that she gets a lot of turtles that have fungus in the cracks of the shell. but...turtle is A LITTLE overweight. so i gotta fix that.
do turtles like to wander around the house? i let her loose a few days ago and she just walked around the house. i should get a pic of my dogs sniffing her. i think they're a little scared of her. LOL.
oh, and to fix my mosquito problem...i basically cleaned out the whole tank and filter---and i put tule (wedding veil material) around the top of the tank. my mom put elastic so that it fits perfectly. i'll try to take a pic today.
anyway, thanks everyone. OH, the vet told me that the turtle is already getting too big for the tank 
which makes sense....i didnt realize it. so im looking at the recycler and penny saver. but people still charge too much, which sucks. there's an aquarium store near my house that makes indoor ponds...and he has reasonable prices (well, $500 and up) but they look huge. so im saving my money.
