Here is my pair of GBKs. I had success with my corns last year, so I'm trying my Alterna male with my Blairs female. They are at about 55' right now, but soon they will be warming up. These pics are a little older. I have read that some GBK breeders put supplements on their mice for the female to prevent problems with babies forming in the eggs. I'm not sure what I want to do. Some breeders have had success without it also. Good Luck to All! Derek

nice gbk's that alterna and blairs should make ya awsome babies 4surekeep us updated on that coupling,,,,,,thomas

How big??? 55" for the male? Is the female also 55"?
I think I would like a pair of those (big) babies if you're successful with them this year.
Here's one of my WC trio ( a 31" male from Langtry). Thanks

Hey Zee, that was degrees not inches. The female is around 36", and the male is much smaller at about 30". Derek

BlueKing Feb 22, 2006 11:12 PM

Ok - got it!
But 36" is still good size for your female! Thanks,

Zee

Thanks and Im pretty excited about the NC's so Im hoping for a good year. As far as Brooksi I still love them but I kinda was disheartened when a male I had that was awesome ending up being a het for Hypo. Maybe not a big deal to some but I was told he was normal and thats what I wanted. Maybe Im too picky lol...yep no maybe about it Im anal

Keith, all those localities are outstanding. I've always been a sucker for the jet black easterns with bright white chains. And that female from Will is beautiful. Those two should produce some top notch South Ga babies.

What's up man? Nice line-up.

Two questions: Are those NCs really that white, and if so, how many am I reserved for???

How's the ol' man doin'? Has he fed at all? I'm so glad that my pair from him are picking up his physical characteristics, like the broad, blunt head and those razor thin chains, but I really hope he gets back on track. He is sort of the archetypal (sp?) eastern, the one that we all dreamed of as kids. I hope he has many more good years.

Did my envelope show up yet? It should'a.

Later Bud.

Will

Hey

Yes it did I was gonna email you and it slipped my mind. The cards look great! Thanks for sending them to me. The NC are really that white. I do have you down for 1.2 and Im sending a pair to BradB and that may be it. I might keep the rest and raise em up.

In regards to the Monmouth he did eat 2 mice last night so thats a good sign. Also my male produced by him is getting that blunt wide noggin' as well. I love that look especially with those signatire tall white labial markings. Here is a little Father and Son comparison shot.

Im still undecided if I should use the Monmouth this year at all or bang his son to both NJ females. Later Bro!
