First Time Breeding Ball Pythons???

latin1956 Feb 21, 2006 11:08 PM

Hi I have a pair 100% het for albino. I put them together tonight after a brief cool down. I have tons of Hondurans and know how to breed them and all. But this is my first time with these guys. I have them in a container with white paper towels and notice a yellow wet spot and a few spots of blood. I did not see them hook up. Could they have hooked up?? and is now the breeding season??

Thanks for your responses.

The time to breed them varies a great deal. Now is a good time to put them together providing they have been cooled.

I noticed that not many people responded to your question about Ball Python breeding. It does not surprise me at all. Ball Pythons have become a business more than a hobby and many people won't give out info. due to competition and greed. There is a good couple of books available with reliable info on Balls. They are: The Complete Ball Python Manual by, Kevin McCurley of nerd And the ball python manual by, Davr and Tracy Barker. Even these books however leave out certain little details but they are good nevertheless.
