What's a good temp to freeze rats?

drasticplastic Feb 22, 2006 01:51 AM

I just purchased a mini fridge/freezer and I was wondering what a good temp would be to keep the frozen rats at. Last I checked I had the fridge at 30 degrees and the freezer part at 6 below. Thanks for the input. (I'm also posting this in the boa forum to get everyones opinion.)

A good practice would be to maintain the same temperatures you should use to store meat for your own consumption – 0 deg F or below.

minus 20 F I think ..at least 0 degrees Celcious......

too bad freezers don't go that low......

you'll average maybe 25F ?...........I never checked...

frozen turkeys were stored at minus 20.....

they can sell you a turkey that is at 30 and frozen and still call it fresh .........because it wasn't at minus 20 yet.....
