Ringneck Snakes in Maine?

anyone have any tips on finding these? I am such a fan of them but have only ever found one. Where should I look? Thanks

Hello and i think that it is great you like these guys in such a area as maine where temperatures fluctuate alot. Well i used to live in Mass now Fl. I keep southern ringnecks myself.

I used to find them in sunny forest openings, often with at least one snake found under every stone. You dont have to be in the open but anywhere with nice rocks is a good place to look.
