Exo Terra Cage?

luvmybeardie911 Feb 22, 2006 11:57 AM

I just got a baby Crestie yesterday. Right now he is in a small critter keeper, because he's a hatchling. I was looking into caging options for when he gets older, and saw a few people recommend the Exo Terra Glass Terrarium. Would he be okay in the smallest Exo Terra until he's an adult, or is it best to keep him in the critter keeper? Also is the largest Exo Terra good enough for one adult Crested? Thanks!

ive seen the large exo-terra glass terranium and i think its pretty sweet. its a bit pricey but i think its worth the money.
im pretty sure an adult crestie can do well in a large one. the small one is alright while hes a baby, but his space requirements will change as he gets bigger.

I have adults in the largest of that style cage and it has worked well. The small one is good if you dont mind upgrading as it grows.

The Exo-Terra cages are great, and have few flaws. However, unless you want to buy a new one whenever your Crestie outgrows it, I'd wait until it reaches a tip of the snout to tail length of about five inches. A large size can comfortably house 1, an XL can house a pair.
