marine toad?

PacMan333 Feb 22, 2006 04:02 PM

I was interested in getting an african bullfrog "pyxie". Then I heard of these giant marine toads. What is their scientific name? How large do they get? What is their diet? Are they harder to maintain than pyxie frogs? thanks for any response, here is my pacman frog.

Scientific Name: Bufo Marinus
Size: 6-9"
Maintance: Easy

I would say they are easier to care for than a pixie because of that fact that they're Toads and to me Toads are easier to care for than Frogs. These Marine Toads do produce a toxin on their glands and they tend to use it more than any other toad so therefor they are a little dangerous. And not to be rude, but if you couldn't take the time or find the ability to do your own research to find out that little bit of info you wanted to know then you should not get one of these toads.
