Has anyone been able to get herp weekend accomidations? I tried at the lodge in late December and it was already booked! Anyway, just wondering.

The lodge books up very fast.
I always stay at the lil' abner motel in Slade, which is right down the street from the park.

The first day it opens for the season is Friday, April 21. I made my reservation tonight and she said it was the very first reservation that was made...so...I know that they have plenty of openings.

Also...if you check around you may be able to find some cabins if you want to go that route. There are lots of companies that don't advertise that rent cabins in the area. Call the lodge at NBSP and ask for some of the names and numbers and they'll help you.

i think it burned down, but i remember staying a lodge that ray whitson worked at.

I guess I'll just have to look into all of the lodges and cabins down there if permitted (by parents). Thanks for the help.
