Any idea's where a 5' Blackthroat would hide in the house? She likes to play a game of hide in the couch, then proceed to remove all the cushions

Look in tight dark places, i would put out a dead mouse see if that attracts the girl. When mine got out i put 2 dead mice out one i cracked the head open i read somewere they smell the blood and go for it lol probably not but w/e next day i saw him resting after a nice meal. LoL

Good Luck on finding your monitor M8

A tail!!!!
Monitors are such comical creatures. When one of my Savs got out I found her crammed behind my Vanity mirror that sits on my dresser. The space betweed the wall and the back of the mirror was really tiny, about an inch apart and she wedge herself in there. It was funny to see that. I should've taken pictures.

She gets out of her cage at least 1-2 hours daily. There is no way they can get that much exercise in any sized cage(non stop fast walking).I take her out every morning to get an hour or so of sun and then she runs around for 1-2 hours. She has been eating 1 rat daily and is not getting fat with all the exercise.I let her determine if she is hungry by going into the cage and making some noise. When hungry she charges after my hand like it's a wild rat.Since I exercise her so much, she is eating daily again with no weight gain A women who can eat what she wants and NOT gain weight?Go figure
