Travelling with a lizard?

theperfectlestat Feb 22, 2006 07:45 PM

My brother wants to get a lizard. The problem is, he is in a band that tours. He would like to be able to take it with him when he tours.

Another problem is, he loves chameleons. Everything I know about chameleons says they don't travel well at all. Or even handle well...

He really wants something he can handle. If he can't find a type of lizard that would be okay traveling, I will take care of it for him while he's gone.

With those issues, does anyone have any suggestions, other than the toy store? ;P

I don't think lizards in general are ment for traveling. Too much stress on them. Too much jostling around going from home to inside a car or plane, then going from that to where ever else he goes between gigs. Besides the constant moving from place to place, there is weather to consider. How will he keep the temps stable. Too many things could go wrong with this. JMHO
