OK this is suppose to be a bloodred. belly has no black, looks like close to a shed

I love bloodreds, I got this guy cheap, with so many morphs that I do not know I just was not sure. But for $40 I could not pass it up.. Oh Popped as a female. I was hoping a male. I will probe at work.

It appears to be one to me. I do not know of any other morphs that are that red and have no belly checkers. There are many different degrees (quality) of bloodreds. Some are so red that you can't see any pattern. Others are not as desirable because you can see the pattern. I think for $40 (I think you said you got it for), is a steal either way. I'd easily pay that for that snake.

Now I am not so sure. Bloodreds also do not have pattern on thier heads. Maybe it has some bloodred in it, like a cross. Will some of the features of bloodred show, but not all? I am not the genetics whiz, sorry.
Still a nice looking snake either way.

It has to be the angle. Top one is a bloodred, the bottom is a pewter.
