Hey do I remember you getting a ratsnake or am I mistaken? If so how is it working out? Addicted yet?

ya, I got a rat. It is supposed to be a black rat (a brown phase), but the people in the rat rorum say it is a yellow. I want a black rat that is going to grow up to be almost all black, or at least real dark. I also want the white with the black eyes (can never spelled the word right). I think for now, my corn addiction is enough. Either way, you can say I am addicted as they are from the same family. LOL
here are pics of the female that I got. Her name is Silvara because she is silver. The pics change her colors a bit and don't do her justice. She is very pretty

Very nice. I agree that it is not a black rat. But it could surprise you..(probably won't) They are great to watch grow. They grow differently than corns. My black rats are just over 2' and only about 1/2 as thick as my pinky. When Hope was that long she was about as thick as my thumb. But they grow so fast it is amazing! Good luck with her!

He is still here. I haven't taken any pictures in a while. He doesn't musk anymore but I still get bitten on occasion. But He is getting much better. I wish I had more time to work with him. Funny how the nippy one is always last on the list to hold

looks like it is last on the list to be sexed and last on the list to be listed as well (on your signature). LOL

They are actually listed in the order I got them. Don't really care about the sex because I don't plan on breeding him/her. Onyx is a unisex name also imo.

I only have experience with black rats. It basically has to be a yellow rat or an everglades (both of which are on my to get list) VERY slim chance of a grey rat? I really couldn't tell you but am pretty sure it is a yellow or glades. I am leaning towards yellow. Post on the rat snake forum again and see if you can get a definate answer.....
