For the Maryland Fans Big daddy and his daughter

BobBull Feb 23, 2006 07:51 AM

Just cleaning cages and taking photos for measuring last night and thought I'd share 2 pictures.

Just over 56 inches of cuddly sweetness. Really a very tame and dare I say gentle animal. Except for the live chipmunk I once fed him I've never seen him coil around a food item. He seems extremely sophisticated when dining.

This is his daughter from last year, Mom's still in the cold cellar due to warm up Friday. This little one is about to shed and is over 17 inches in length she's fat due to four pinkies which, unlike her father, she attacked with a vengence.

Maryland Easterns are incredible. My parents have a video of a Maryland Eastern King coming out of a birdhouse 15' in the air atop a 4x4 post. I love all Eastern kings, but Maryland Easterns are my fav. Eastern King. Thanks for sharing, Derek
